Cards I've made for swapping at convention

Cards I've made for swapping at CTMH Convention this year.

We are to use all Close to my Heart
product and current paper so that other consultants can make this style of card. I chose for this one to use no B & T paper.
The flowers and leaves were stamped and colored in with watercolor pencils, the fence was stamped and then hand cut in shape of posts, the grass was cut out with the Cricut machine. The ribbon is retired though.
This card was easy also. No B&T paper used. Punched circles with CTMH punch. Arranged in a circle. stick is a sucker stick, ribbon is from craft store. Alphabet is CTMH -A Typeface. Sweet!!!!!
This card is a gate fold card. Because convention will be in  so close to July 4th, I thought this card would be appropriate. The paper pack is retired though, but stamp set is current. The ones I made to swap have a clear button with red  cardstock under it and is placed in the center of the star.
What's better than a slice of cake for a birthday card. I love this card, BUT it's totally cut out by hand, I made them with yellow, orange and pink
B & T paper. Flame is using our Glitz glitter gel. Love it!!!!
This card is very simple. 5 different B&T papers( which will help you use up scraps), some bakers twine to match, a simple sentiment. And you have an easy, quick Birthday card.

I made some specialty cards, but I won't reveal them yet. The card box is not done yet. Hope you enjoy!!!

I can't wait to come back from convention, have an open house to show off all the new stuff,  and release the new Idea Book to you. I'll keep you posted.

June Scrapbooking Class.

Paper Doll stamp set

I just love the new stamp set- Paper Doll for a girls Layout. Since last month I did  boys layout, this month's all girls. I used one of our current Paper packs- Claire to make this layout. For the left page I used the same style of layout that someone did in our current ideabook, but of course making it my own. The companion page is my design.

This class is scheduled for 2 dates- June 10 at 6:30 and also June 14 at 6:30. I have ladies that can't make the Monday night and would prefer the Friday and vice versa. So I'll offer it twice and see how that works for everyone. The cost of the class is $10. I will do a lot of your cutting and coloring for you(each clothesline article needs stamped, cut out, and colored as well as the doll. I will need an RSVP by June 5th. Please bring your favorite adhesive.
If you plan on bringing a guest please let me know. Each of you receive a gift. Snacks as usual will be provided.

Also wanting to know who is interested in Christmas in July??? And doing some Christmas cards. Let me know- that just may be our workshop for July.

May Close to my Heart Scrapbooking Class

Instead of doing a traditional Mother's day workshop we will be assembling a boys layout using the new Later Sk8r paper pack and a new stamp set called Fast and Furious.

This class will be held on May 13th at 6:30. This is a date change from my normal monthly class(May 6) because my down line is having a class that night that I may attend. Please bring your own adhesive. The cost for this layout is $10, but you will go home with the remainder of the Licorice Opaque Adhesive gems that you don't use on the project. I used the Mocha gems because they were handy but the Licorice match the paper so much better. See the pic below. All the gears and wheels have at least one gem also.

Please RSVP by MAY 1st so I can get the order in for the gems so I have enough for everyone. If you bring a guest you both get a gift but they must be RSVP'd also. Sure hope you can make it to the class. Looking forward to seeing you there. As always there will be a snack, refreshments, along with chocolate. We usually have a few giveaways. If you need directions please email me or post a comment.

Easter Layouts with Close to my Heart's Chantilly paper

For my April class I picked our Chantilly paper pack, new  Easter Wishes stamp set, and used the Make it From Your Heart Volume 1 guide to create this layout. I also used the Art Philosophy and Artiste Cricut Cartridges for some of the images. I love Close to my Heart products and love to show off what you can create with them.
2 years ago I went to a 2 day crop in Florida and a Stampin UP consultant make a cute bunny in a carrot. I recreated it for this layout.
This class will be held on Monday April 8th at 6:30 PM. You will need to let me know if you want a girl or boy layout. The cost for this class will be $8. Please bring your own adhesive. There is always a snack of some kind and usually chocolate.
Bring a friend and each of you will receive a gift.
Please RSVP by April 1 to assure I have enough of the right papers cut for you. Don't forget to let me know if you need a boy or girl layout.
Sure hope to see you there. If you need directions email me at scrappy55@msn.com

What a Hoot March LO

This is the layout for my March 11th  6:30 PM class.- What a Hoot. This layout features our Clementine paperpack, twine, and most of the owls and tags are cut using the Art Philosophy and Artiste Close to my Heart cartridges. The idea of this layout is not my original- I scraplifted from  2 very talented CTMH consultants, Mary and Holly. I modified it to fit my needs. You will need to bring your own adhesive and glue pen if you have one. We always have chocolate and goodies. Bring a friend and you both receive a gift. The cost is $10.
The March CTMH special is that if you have an order, or orders, that qualify as a gathering ($150 or more), Close to my Heart will bump you to the next qualifing level for free products and half price items. I'm excited for this!!!!!

Wedding Collage

Today I finished a gift for a co-worker. The photo has a shadow on the last row of pictures that is not really there.I had made paper flower bouquets for some of her quest tables at her reception and had left over flowers- so I used them on the collage. She will be returning from her honeymoon next week. I hope she likes it!!!!!!!
The paperpack used behind the 5 x 7 is For Always from the new spring Close to my Heart catalog. The paper flowers were made from the Close to my Heart Cricut cartridge Art Philosophy.
